The Estate Swing wireless 2-channel digital keypad is an essential tool for any gate opener system. Note: If you use the Estate Swing 433ESREC transmitter, then this keypad WILL be compatible. You must use the 433ESREC transmitter in your system in order to use this keypad.

The following tools and supplies are suggested in the manufacturer manual for optimal installation. They are not provided by Gate Crafters, however, most tools are available at local hardware stores for purchase or rental. Please refer to the Installation Manual for Tools Needed. Depending on the type of gate, power supply and contributing environmental factors additional tools or supplies may be needed. Sliding driveway gate openers have until now had an issue in which an automatic lock was not able to be used with the gate. All the automatic locks were designed for swinging gates because of the mounting plates and also required a wire across the gate which poses issues with a gate that slides and moves locations.
The Estate Swing Low Impact Sliding gate lock kit solves these issues with its unique opener side mounting and gate mounted receiving bracket. Also the low impact aspect solves the now common issue of a gentle ending to gate opener movements. A common feature you’ll see is as a gate closes it slows down for the last few feet instead of banging shut. This reduces the banging noise as well as takes stress off the physical components of the gate and gate opener.
One problem with this feature is the lack of momentum as the gate closes reduces the amount of weight hitting the lock to below the weight needed for the gate to fully close and lock. Instead, the gate latches rest on top of each other without fully locking, leaving your gate unprotected against forced entry and wind.
What separates the Estate Swing lock from the rest of the competition is that it requires less than 1 pound of weight for the gate to lock. Other locks require approximately 10 pounds of weight, which is no longer generated from the momentum of the gate because of the slow down feature.
The Estate Swing lock is the unique pivot design reduces power consumption. The older model locks require 3 amps to pull the latch open because they pull back on a direct linear path. The Estate Swing lock requires less than 1 amp because it works on a swivel, making the pulling action much easier.
The reduction in power required for the lock means less strain is put on the system as a whole as power is distributed through the motor and control board. Since less power is then required from the system, you can reliably active and run the motor, power accessories, get a longer life span from battery systems, and will not stress the circuitry of the control board of the gate opener.
