This battery kit is solely designed for back-up use. In the above listed Estate Swing systems, the gate openers run entirely off of the transformer input. When that input is absent then the gate opener switches over to the battery backup for approximately 6 to 10 cycles. The incoming power charges the batteries between cycles. The two batteries in this kit must be used in series.

This system has one station at the door/gate and has the option of one or two master station(s) in the house.

The classic intercom is a simple as it gets, and with simplicity comes reliability. From the door/gate station you will run a 2 conductor wire to the indoor station(s) and from the indoor station(s) you will run a 2 conductor wire to the gate.
