This battery kit is solely designed for back-up use. In the above listed Estate Swing systems, the gate openers run entirely off of the transformer input. When that input is absent then the gate opener switches over to the battery backup for approximately 6 to 10 cycles. The incoming power charges the batteries between cycles. The two batteries in this kit must be used in series.

The Miller Edge Gate Bumper is the latest in new extrusion to be developed to support the gate industry. The extrusion is designed to provide a flexible cushion to the leading or trailing edge of a 2" gate frame. It easily attaches to the gate by inserting screws through the mounting flange and into the gate frame. (Screws are not included) It is extruded in Black 65 Duro PVC, to ensure a long lasting life. When touched, these electrically activated edge sensors immediateley signal the gate operator to stop and reverse. The sleek design will not detract from the appearance of the gate.
